The main characteristics of 317 stainless steel include excellent corrosion resistance, especially in high temperature and chloride environments. Compared to 304 stainless steel, the corrosion resistance of 317 has been significantly improved, which can better resist the occurrence of pitting and crevice corrosion. In addition, 317 stainless steel has good weldability and processability, making it suitable for various complex manufacturing processes.
Under high temperature conditions, 317 stainless steel can maintain strong strength and toughness, and is not easily deformed, making it very suitable for use in industrial equipment under high temperature and pressure.
