1.4571 Stainless Steel Plate
1.4571 (316Ti) is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel plate with Cr, Ni, Mo and Ti. It resists intergranular corrosion after welding, plus pitting/crevice corrosion in acids and chlorides. Good weldability and high-temperature stability make it ideal for chemical, marine, food, and pressure vessel applications.

Product Introduction

1.4571 (X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2) is a chromium nickel molybdenum steel with a titanium stabilized stainless and austenitic structure. Corrosion resistant, suitable for equipment manufacturing, shipbuilding, construction industry, chemical industry, etc. Weldable, no heat treatment required. Can be used within a temperature range of 550 ° C and is suitable for low-temperature environments.

1.4571 is a chromium nickel molybdenum steel with a titanium stabilized stainless and austenitic structure. When high temperature strength is required, 1.4571 can be used as an alternative material, such as replacing 1.4404. In ordinary titanium unstable steel, 1.4571 has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance due to the addition of titanium preventing the precipitation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries. Due to its low carbon content, no heat treatment is required after welding. 1.4571 is also known as AISI 316Ti.

Scope of application: 1.4571 has good corrosion resistance in most natural water bodies (urban and industrial water), provided that the concentration of chloride, hydrochloric acid, and hydrochloric acid is not too high.

Application areas: 1.4571 is mainly used in equipment manufacturing and shipbuilding, construction industry, chemical industry, mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical industry, and pharmaceutical industry. In the food industry, 1.4571 is also used for the transportation and storage of food.

Forging: During forging, the preheating temperature is between 1150 ° C and 1180 ° C. Then, the material can be forged at 1180 ° C and 950 ° C. The subsequent cooling is carried out in water.

Welding: 1.4571 can be welded using all common methods. No welding filler material is required, and no heat treatment is needed after welding. The temperature of the weld seam during the process should not exceed 200 ° C.

Corrosion resistance: 1.4571 exhibits good corrosion resistance at low to moderate concentrations of chloride, salt, hydrochloric acid, and organic acids. Even after welding, it still has the ability to resist intergranular corrosion.

Processing: Due to the alloying of titanium, tool wear during mechanical processing has increased.

Special features: Can be used within a temperature range of 550 ° C, suitable for low temperature environments, magnetic (μ r ≤ 1.3), excellent weldability.
